Once Removed 04:17
If I had one last chance I'd win a fight with the moon. If I had you. If I had you. If I had a moment Like this every day. If I had you. If I had you. But they're just letting me know they got the joke. Like my dead beat dad. I am looking...I am looking for something more. I don't have to be alone, But countless poets and singers have done the same. I just need to find a different scar On a different body and nurse it back to health. And I've got your fingerprints but I'm never gonna go the distance, I know you're scared as hell but you won't be safer with me...with me. If I had any choice I'd fall for everyone in this room, I just want you or maybe you. But they're just letting me know they got the joke. Like my dead beat dad, I am looking...I am looking for something more. I don't have to be alone, But countless poets and singers have done the same, I just need to find a different scar On a different body and nurse it back to health. I got your fingerprints but I'm never gonna go the distance, I know you're scared as hell but you won't be safer with me. I'm sure that you'll handle it well but you won't be happy with me.

Sunset Song 02:32
I wish it was sunset, And you and I were dancing, Through a minefield, Right into the night. And there is a pink sky. It is our blanket, If I'm honest, I bet we won't die. I'll tell you I like you, You'll never ask why, And we'll free fall, Back down to the ground. I don't wanna tell you, I'm a spiritual guy, I am a fool, Who's through with love. I'm through with love. I'm through with love. But I guess I'm not done. I guess I'm not done. I'm not through with love. I'm not through with love. I'll never be done.

Methlab 02:49
The lights are a different part of it, Your eyes light up like fireworks for me. I just wanna be part of it, Part of what goes on in-between your sheets. I am a methlab; You are my amphetamine. And I'm coming back; You are the tear inside my jeans. Now I'm like Shakespeare running uphill, Explosions are going off in outer-space. We don't care if it's dangerous, When they ignite I'll finally see her face. I've been spinning round and round, I think I'm living on the ground, But I've been living in my head, Because it's as close to the sky as I can get. I'm not sure if it's love but if it is it's not enough, And though I feel a bit confused, Tomorrow I might make the front-page news. So let's be productive, Let's fall in love and paint these walls. Can we talk on the phone some more? I am a methlab; And you were my amphetamine. I'm never going back; You were the tear inside my jeans.

(... this is for Spencer) The final dying sounds echo out, They are still ringing in my ears, Clear as a bell, Your cadence fits you so well. My emotions are running sky high, There's a symphony inside. I used to rely on looking back, But I'd break a bone if that would make you laugh. There's saliva everywhere and I don't care, I think I talk too much anyway. And I'm not much of a detective, But I get the sense that you might feel the same. I'm clenched fist, angry, and you'd agree, Maybe I should take a year. Stop trying to be happy, You'll feel much better when you let go of your dreams. I am your reflection, I watch you everyday, I live in all your mirrors, Just to make sure you're okay. And when your snot's escaping use my sleeve to wipe your nose, I don't care if that's disgusting, I will never think you're gross. I've got no more fucks to give, I've got no more hair to grow, I just call it where I live, But I guess you'd call it home. I'm done trusting history, I'm done solving mysteries. I wanna see what you have seen, I wanna walk under your feet. Death would be a great adventure, For you and me.
